Wealth Management Advisor

Retirement Plan Specialist at First Financial Group

Bradley manages a retirement plan practice for First Financial Group (FFG), a Bethesda based Mass Mutual Agency, while also maintaining / growing a wealth management business. The practice provides 3(21), 3(38) and other fiduciary / advisory services to businesses and clients of advisors at FFG.

FFG’s Fiduciary Consulting Practice

  • Supports FFG’s wealth management advisors by helping them to provide retirement solutions to their clients, without having to be specialist, while participating financially and partnering to help identify opportunities for the wealth advisors.
  • Delivers 3(21) and 3(38) services, advanced guidance to trustees and HR about plan design and creative options to meet their benefit and financial goals.
  • Interacts with employees to support their use of the 401k plan, deliver employee financial wellness (Wellcents), education and real financial guidance that they don’t get from a 1-800 number.

Bradley graduated from Loyola University in Maryland in 1989 with a Finance degree and his Series 6. He transitioned his college internship with Equitable (AXA) into a small practice. He moved to First Financial Group at Guardian Life in 1992. With no natural market, but a drive to succeed he committed the first 5 years of his career to cold calling businesses and bringing prospects to senior specialists within First Financial Group. First Financial Group had TPA services with expert specialists and benefit consulting experts that advisors leveraged. At Guardian, Bradley achieved Leaders Club and Managers’ Club Awards and was a top retirement plan producer.

Post Dodd Frank in 2013, Bradley left Guardian to join a top ranked national fiduciary consulting firm in Maryland, PSA’s Fiduciary Consulting Practice. PSA’s practice managed $2 Billion in fee based 3(21) consulting retirement plan relationships nationally. In 2017, after PSA’s Fiduciary Practice was bought by a Private Equity Firm, Bradley returned to First Financial Group to build a retirement consulting business focused on delivering specialized expertise that FFG advisors could offer clients.

Bradley is a Marylander by birth but spends 52% of his time working from his office in Atlantic Beach, Florida. He will proudly drone on about his University of Southern California Club lacrosse son Talbot (22), his William and Mary D1 Lax daughter Charlotte (19) and Ella (24) the Master of Social Work counselor / TCU grad who lives in Dallas. He attributes 90% of their greatness to his wife of 27 years, Kimberly.
